Effort from "Teddy Bear FURever Series"
cast aluminum 17” x 10” x 8” (standing position) 13” x 13” x 9” (standing position) This work started from my curiosity of how I could make a movable/articulated metal bear. I’m very proud of my craftsmanship that made this bear come out very successfully. This bear can sit or stand, move the arms up and down, and tilt its head. A stuffed bear is supposed to be soft and warm, but I made totally opposite one: hard and cold. The livings have limited life, but this metal bear lives FURever. Effort is the first bear I made for the series. He has a nice hairy pattern on the surface. His name is from a lot of effort I put to make him as the first one. 2005
