Grandmother's Melanchory

crocheted scarf when it is installed: 30 inches x 20 inches x 7 inches 7” x 64” This is my approach to aging. The text on the scarf says “ILL, PILL, BILL, STILL ILL…” implying melancholy as we age. The shadow of the text is cast clearly on the wall and it is repeated again. Since this piece has a scarf form, it could be a choking hazard when wrapped. 2015
