cast iron, old lingerie, steel rod, stand life size (approximately 47” x 18” x 11”) This piece shows the conventional image how women should be and want to be. I also expressed the very restricted feeling I had in Japan as a woman. It is ironic that corset constrains women, but they still want to wear it to create beautiful body lines to attract men. 2005
